At NRL Federal Credit Union, we are Driven to Discover the best security options for our members. As such, we are updating our password policy to comply with the recommended standards of the new Information Security Program. The date for these changes is still TBD but will fall during the month of March, and more information will be sent closer to the launch date. Changes are as follows:
The minimum character length for passwords will be changed from 7 to 8. Once this is enabled, any member who needs to change their password will be required to use one that is now at least 8 characters long
Users that do not sign in at least once a year will lose access to our system.
Passwords will now have a 90-day limit. Members must reset their passwords once every 90 days in order to access their account. Members that do not reset their passwords will be prompted by the system.
Thank you for your patience as we make these changes to improve member security. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.
